Standing Committees
Neighborhood Watch
To coordinate yearly educational functions to keep the neighborhood informed about how they can best help in efforts to keep crime out of the community.
To coordinate block captains for Neighborhood Watch related responsibilities.
Communications
- To provide information about the neighborhood and issues that affects the neighborhood to the community.
- To maximize the amount of people that are reached, both electronic and paper avenues are utilized.
The comunications committee comprises newsletter, listserv/website, membership (listserv and CA membership), and advertisement. Contact mhckca_communications@googlegroups.com for more questions/concerns/further information.

Social Events
- To keep track of and manage the resources necessary for all regular CA sponsored community events,
- To provide assistance in events planned in the neighborhood when appropriate and possible.
Zoning
To keep the CA and the community informed of zoning plans for the neighborhood, as well as maintain records of zoned purposes of areas within the neighborhood. The Zoning committee has two active sub-committees: "Parks and Plants" and "Traffic."

Parks and Plants
seeks to coordinate green space maintenance and ensure a healthy and beautiful tree canopy in the community.

manages community aspects related to pedestrian and vehicular traffic control.
