MCKENNEY HILLS-CARROLL KNOLLS CIVIC ASSOCIATION
Nestled between downtown Silver Spring and Wheaton, the McKenney Hills-Carroll Knolls neighborhood offers the suburban charms of parks and green space with the advantages of easy access to Washington, DC.
The McKenney Hills–Carroll Knolls Civic Association was founded in 1992 and is loosely bounded by Forest Glen to the South, Georgia Ave to the East, Plyers Mill to the North, and Leslie St to the West.
COVID has really changed how we interact and live our best lives. It has been a change for the civic association as well.
As COVID waned in 2021, MHCK hosted a new-look block party in July which was received very well. The block party was followed by our super successful National Night Out at Flora Singer Elementary School in August 2021.
